Supporting all members of the LGBTQ+ community in the Eastern Shore and Baldwin County, AL
Our Mission
Coloring the Eastern Shore (CES) is a nonprofit organization working to increase visible support and create a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay and the rest of Baldwin County, AL.
A few years ago, the LGBTQ+ community in Fairhope, AL decided to celebrate Pride by leaving messages of hope, love and support to the community using sidewalk chalk at a local city park. Those drawings grew into an organization that is here to serve the LGBTQ+ community in Baldwin County
Coloring the Eastern Shore organizes Pride festivals, provides community support, and engages other organizations in a positive manner to discuss LGBTQ+ topics. We strive to bring everyone together to build the best Baldwin County possible!
On Saturday October 11, 2025, we are having our annual Out in October Festival! Join us at The Bluff at Henry Geoge Park in Fairhope! Enjoy the beautiful view, music, community and all the wonderful people that make up all of the wonderful people that are apart of and support the LGBTQ community!
How to get Involved
We are always looking to meet new people that want to get involved! Our volunteer opportunities are always growing!
